New Songs

I will post a video version of a new song along with a story about it’s creation twice a month. I hope you enjoy them!

This first one I wrote for a benefit concert to raise money to build dedicated Pickleball courts in Albany CA.

This video is a version of a song I wrote with Sinclair, performed by the Cosmic Orchestra, a group of NY session musicians. I love the passion of this performance and how obvious it is that they like the song!

I wrote “Good To Go” with my friend Allen Shamblin. It’s funny where songs come from sometimes. This one came from us having difficulty getting on zoom together to co-write. When we finally got it going, Allen said, “We’re good to go! I said, that’s a great idea for a song but I certainly wasn’t thinking we were going to take it where it ended up taking us. Enjoy!

This is a fabulous version of “Don’t Laugh At Me” by Kirk Jay. It was done about a year ago but I just discovered it. Enjoy!

This is a song I wrote soon after the murder of George Floyd. I had a thought provoking conversation with my friend Mai Bloomfield which led to us writing this. I hope it resonates with you.

Christmas is right around the corner! This is my first Christmas song ever. Maybe that’s because I’m jewish and mainly celebrate Chanukah! That said, I have many friends who celebrate Christmas big time including Richard Schroder who asked me to write a Christmas song with him. The result is “It’s never Too Soon for Christmas”. Richard went all out on producing this and here’s the video of the song, filmed during the re cording session in NY with a 17 piece big band.
